Extensive renovation to Edwardian house in Brockley
This Edwardian, end of terrace, 3 bedroom house was given a new lease of life; incorporating a side return extension and loft conversion to add an additional, luxurious bedroom with en-suite shower room. With several internal walls knocked out to encourage light to flow through, a new solid oak floor was laid throughout to ensure a cohesive feel in the space. Traditional features such as fireplaces and cornicing were kept or replicated to celebrate the history of the property. The scheme incorporates the client's Swedish heritage and many treasured family heirlooms. The end result is a light and airy, open plan space, perfect for entertaining and hosting the client's children and grandchildren. This renovation was featured in 25 Beautiful Homes.
